Carrollwood Day School has many ways for parents to get involved in their child’s experience at school. Throughout the year, volunteers help in the library, assist with special events, act as chaperones on field trips, serve lunches, support teachers with classroom parties or activities throughout the year, share their expertise with classes, and more!
PTO Back to School Coffee and Volunteer Fair
The PTO hosts a Back to School Coffee and Volunteer Fair during the first weeks of school. The PTO Back to School Coffee and Volunteer Fair provides an opportunity for parents to catch up with friends and mingle with returning and new parents from all grade levels. Parents also have an opportunity to sign up to help with any of the many PTO committees. The PTO sponsors a variety of events during the year including the Annual Auction, Family Picnic, Staff Appreciation, Dads' Day at the ECC, and Grandparents' Day at the Bearss Campus. The PTO and room representatives provide assistance at many other school events.

Help CDS High School Students Prepare for College
College admissions representative visits, college fairs, test preparations, and planning visits to schools are just some of the ways high school students are gearing up for college. Today college applicants have a wealth of information about hundreds of colleges available to them at the push of a button; however, reading about a school online or in a brochure cannot compare to learning about the unique opportunities and traditions experienced by someone who attended that school. If you would like to help our high school students learn about your alma mater, please contact Dawn Bickoff, CDS College Counselor.
