Carrollwood Day School's Security Team

You may have noticed some new faces on campus. We are pleased to welcome a team of new school protection officers to work with Amanda Kulkin, CDS Security Manager and Officer Marc, Bearss Avenue Campus Primary School Protection Officer.

 Officer 'Mack

Officer 'Mack is a retired artillery paratrooper. He is married with grown children. He drives a huge white HUMMER with a gold Army star on the side. You can find his HUMMER and him on the West side of campus.

 Officer Sheila

Officer Sheila has run her own daycare center for the last 30 years which she just sold. No wonder she's a natural fit for being our Lower School and East Side Officer.

Officer Anthony  Officer Anthony, is a former Corrections Officer and Avid Seminole fan.  He loves his family and enjoys fishing. He covers the afternoon/evening shift at CDS.
Officer Henry  Officer Henry is a 6-month veteran of CIS having worked and proven himself on other challenging properties and yet he's clearly the youngest of the group. He welcomes back our away teams and then locks up the school for us in the late hours of the evening.
Officer Miguel

Officer Miguel has been at CDS for a month and a half now. Before joining CIS, he was in customer service and sales for 9 years. He is on duty during school hours checking in guests at the Welcome Center.

 Officer Jermaine

Officer Jermaine is a retired army infantry soldier who brings his "can do" attitude to CDS.  He spent over 20 years in the Army and retired in 2015.  He recently joined CDS as our evening School Protection Officer.

Officer Stephanie Officer Stephanie is the new ECC School Officer. She came to CIS after relocating from New York where she spent several years as a school safety officer with NYC Public Schools and attended the NYPD Academy. Officer Stephanie has her bachelors degree in psychology and has spent time volunteering with a missionary group providing disaster relief to earthquake victims in Haiti.

CDS partners with CIS World Services to provide security at both campuses. CIS School Protection Officers are experienced CIS officers that have been specially selected and trained for the mission of protecting schools against criminal threats, including threats of targeted violence. The uniquely integrated and comprehensive nature of the CIS Guardian SafeSchool program has drawn national-level recognition from the criminal justice and school safety community and has been peer reviewed by John Jay College of Criminal Justice as a model for national best practices.
