Ryan Kelly Taps Nicholas Rodriguez
Head of School Ryan Kelly has announced the appointment of Nicholas B. Rodriguez as Carrollwood Day School’s first Assistant Head of School for Institutional Advancement effective immediately. “Nick has been instrumental in assisting me to raise significant funds over the past four years,” said Mr. Kelly. “He has also worked hard with his advancement team to streamline procedures and processes, increase enrollment and retention, along with focusing on our customer service initiative. Nick is very deserving of this new post and I know he will continue to help CDS and the advancement department.”
Rodriguez has served as the school’s Director of Advancement since joining the CDS administration in 2012. "I am honored and excited to be offered this opportunity by Mr. Ryan Kelly,” Rodriguez said. “These past four years I have been incredibly fortunate to be part of the CDS community. Being able to work with amazing families, teachers, administration, and board members who continue to push CDS forward is a dream come true."
Rodriguez has 15 years experience working in private schools as a coach, teacher and administrator. Prior to CDS, he was Assistant Head of School Fellowship Program at Corbett Preparatory School of IDS and Director of Advancement for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School. Rodriguez is also head coach of the CDS varsity baseball team and is an elected member of the FHSAA’s Section 3 Appeals Committee.
Nicholas Rodriguez, a third generation Tampa native, is a graduate of Tampa Preparatory School and the University of South Florida and is pursuing his Masters in Organizational Leadership from Columbia Southern University.
