US Parent Coffee
Sara Rubinstein, Head of Upper School, will host a series of morning coffees this year for all upper school parents. These monthly get togethers feature a discussion on a topic of particular interest to parents. 8th grade parents are also invited to attend this informative presentations. This will be the final coffee for this school year.
The topic for the April coffee is Introduction to Approaches to Learning (ATL).
This will be an introduction to the most important set of skills your student will ever need. During this coffee, Mr. Horsington (Assistant Head of Upper School) and Ms. McCartney (MYP Coordinator) will unpack how the IB continuum teaches explicitly 21st century skills needs to thrive in today's and tomorrow's world. Mrs. Hollingsworth (US Resource Teacher) will share ways students can apply the approaches to learning in study habits for their upcoming final exams.
