BE PREPARED FOR 2019-2010

Back-to-School

In June, the 2019 Back-to-School Page will be published on the school website. This page will contain helpful information and important materials families will need prior to the beginning of the school year — all in one place. You will find summer assignments, school supply lists, technology requirements, and more! This page will continue to be updated throughout the summer.

Magnus Health

We are excited to continue the use of the secure online Magnus Health portal to collect and store your student’s health and medical information for the upcoming school year. Starting in June, you will receive a reminder email from Magnus Health notifying you that you must take action with your online Student Medical Record (SMR) for the 2019-2020 school year.

All forms and information must be completed / uploaded to the Magnus Health portal by July 31, 2019.

DOWNLOAD YOUR CHILD'S SEESAW PORTFOLIO

SeeSaw

With the end of the year here, parents may want to download the items that have been saved to your child's portfolio in SeeSaw. Follow the simple instructions on this video to preserve these memories. Downloading will need to be done from a computer, not from the SeeSaw app. On a computer or laptop, go to SeeSaw.me. Click on “I’m a family member” and sign into your family account. Click here for instructions on how to download your child's 2018-2019 portfolio items.

GET INVOLVED IN 2019-2020

Volunteer

If you are interested in potentially becoming a Room Representative for your child's class/homeroom for the 2019-2020 school year, then please add your name to the list by August 2!

We are currently collecting names of those parents who are interested in getting more involved for grades 1 - 5. Please add your name to each grade level that you would consider volunteering to be a Room Representative. Final selection will take place by September, after the students have been assigned to their classroom.

Please contact Andrea Esguerra or Andrea Cottrell, Elementary School Room Rep Coordinators, with questions.

Every child in grades 1 - 5 who arrives after 8:00 am must check in at the elementary office before reporting to his/her classroom.

MESSAGE FROM SCHOOL NURSE

Medications

Medication

If any students currently have medications in the nurse's office, parents will need to pick them up by June 6, 2019. After that, Carrollwood Day School policy directs staff to discard any medication left at the school. We cannot hold medication over summer or send medications home with students.

The medication form completed by parents for the 2018-2019 school year will be void, a new one must be completed for 2019-2020. All medication and special health forms for next year can be found on Magnus Health.  The completed forms will need to be uploaded to Magnus Health; no student forms will be turned in to school.

Please contact Mrs. Silvers, CDS School Nurse, if you have any questions. (813.920.2288)
