Join us for an amazing look at the life, lessons, and legacy of this beloved American icon. A portrait of a man whom we all think we know, this emotional and moving film takes us beyond the zip-up cardigans and the land of make-believe, and into the heart of a creative genius who inspired generations of children with compassion and limitless imagination.
Special activities will be available for ECC and elementary children during the program.

Middle School Technology
At CDS, technology is embedded in the learning experiences throughout the entire school. Every student in grades 4 - 12 is required to have a personally owned iPad or MacBook.
- Note for students entering Grade 6: Beginning next year, Middle School will be transitioning away from iPads for 6th grade. Next year 6th graders will be able to use either an iPad or a MacBook; however, 2019-2020 will be the last year 6th grade students will be able to use iPads. Beginning in the 2020-2021 school year, all students in grades 6 - 8 will be required to have a MacBook laptop. If you are planning to purchase a new device in the coming year for your rising 6th grade student, you may want to consider purchasing a MacBook rather than a new iPad.

We are a group of high school students in Mrs. Montague’s entrepreneurship class, and we are currently completing a social entrepreneurship project for Lead2Feed. The mission of our project is to inspire healthy living for kids. For the culmination of our project we will be hosting a fun outdoor activity event for kids at Lake Park.

The All Pro Dad program at CDS does not follow a faith-based agenda, it is character based and is approved by the National PTO for all public schools. This program is for ALL students of ALL religions and students may attend with a special male adult.
This is a great opportunity for dads and their kids to engage in conversation and strengthen their relationships, as well as a time to meet other CDS dads!
Breakfast from Flik will be available for purchase.

December Half-Day AfterCare Schedule
AfterCare will be offered at the ECC and Bearss Avenue Campus on the half days in December. Reservations are requested.
- Friday, December 7: Aftercare WILL BE AVAILABLE beginning at noon for ECC and elementary students. This is a change in the original schedule. Students staying for aftercare will need to bring lunch from home. MS/US Study Hall WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
- Thursday, December 20: This is the last day of school before winter break. Aftercare WILL BE AVAILABLE beginning at noon for ECC and elementary students. Students staying for aftercare will need to bring lunch from home.
