A number of students are overdrawn on their MySchoolBucks.com accounts. Please check your children's accounts (each child has an individual account) to be sure there is a positive balance in their accounts. Any student whose account is overdrawn will no longer be served the lunch of his/her choice. Students with negative balances will be served a Sunbutter and jelly sandwich for $3.50 which will be deducted from the student's account balance. We recommend that parents set up auto pay on their MySchoolBucks.com account to ensure their children get to have the lunch of their choice.

Middle School is pleased to offer a series of morning coffees focused on the unique IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) offered at CDS. This will be the second of three coffees. The topic for this coffee is:
What makes Criterion Referenced grading the best way to provide information on student learning?
Please join us to learn the answer to this question and have an opportunity to ask your own questions about IB.
The final coffee will be held on Thursday, March 7.

Who can participate?
- All 7th grade music students and 8th grade band students
(Other grades and instruments may be included if there is room in the schedule.)
Where and When?
- 3:45 pm - 4:30 pm in H114.
Groups will meet once per week, on the day your group can make it.

8th Grade Bonfire and Movie Night
Friday, November 30, 2018
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This annual student event is free of charge. Parents, please use the east (elementary) parking lot to drop off and pick up your 8th grader. Students will enjoy a wonderful evening of s'mores, friends, and fun on Wimbledon Field! Don't forget to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the movie on the lawn. Bug spray is also suggested.
RSVPs are requested.

3 vs. 3 Coed Youth SPEED Lacrosse as Powered by Under Armour is for Kindergarten - 8th grade boys and girls. Our CDS family is invited to play! - Thursday, December 20: This is the last day of school before winter break. MS/US Study Hall WILL BE AVAILABLE from noon until 4:00 pm. Students staying for Study Hall will need to bring lunch from home.
