Children staying "beyond the bell" at the ECC participate in activities in a safe, caring, and fun environment. Snacks are made available for all students, and there is a rest time for all toddler, PreK 3, and PreK 4 students staying for the afternoon extended day program.
After Care Hours and Dates
After Care is available until 6:00 pm every day there is school with the exception of Friday, October 26, Friday, December 7, 2018 and the Friday before Spring Break (March 15, 2019). After Care is offered on half-days; students who need to stay for after care on half-days need to bring their lunch and a beverage. The ECC also provides before school care beginning at 7:00 am.
KidCheck®
CDS uses KidCheck® to provide an online check in/check out system for the safety and tracking of our children. Every ECC family should create an account. This assures that our after care program is equipped to care for your child in the event that unplanned circumstances prevent you from picking up your child at the regular dismissal time. If you used KidCheck last year, your account is still active.

Wednesday, September 12, 2018, is the first Parent-Teacher Conference Day for Toddler, PreK 3, PreK 4 and Kindergarten classes. There is no school on Wednesday for students at the Early Childhood Campus. CDS does not offer child care for students on days when regular classes are not held.
Appointments have been set for parents to meet with their children's teachers. If parents are unavailable on September 12, they are welcome to contact their child's teacher to reschedule a different date and time during the teacher's office hours. Monday, September 24
Studio Artistry, the official school photographer, will be on campus to take individual student pictures on Monday, September 24.
Kindergarten students should wear their regular school uniform for school pictures.
