Mark your calendars for the 2017 PYP Exhibition!
Wednesday, May 17, 2017
We are so proud of our 5th grade classes and the big challenges they have taken on for their Exhibition Projects. These caring and passionate young people are working hard to make our world a better place!
Being kind to others can change the world through everyday actions.
One student, Paula Vestrini, organized a field trip to Metropolitan Ministries to go along with their Exhibition topic. The children worked from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm in a warehouse organizing donated food. They also brought donated items to Metropolitan Ministries.

Mrs. Hendershot's Class:
Celebrating diversity throughout the world promotes mutual respect for everyone.
You will find these open-minded, caring students at the Best Buddies Friendship Walk this weekend. They will be passing out water bottles at a water station. They found the walk while researching diversity and disabilities.
The choices people make may change the health of their mind and body.
These students have been busy interviewing and meeting with local health experts and have even received a letter of encouragement and box of resource materials from the President's Council on Fitness, Sports, & Nutrition!
Please join them for a Walk 'N Talk at 8:15 a.m. on Friday, April 28 on South Beach Field! Click here for more information including an Activity Tracker for a challenge to be active for at least 150 minutes a week for four weeks!
