SELECTION OF 10TH GRADE COURSES

Current 9th grade students will select their courses for 10th grade at the end of this month. Each student should discuss the courses offered with their parents, their advisor, and their current teachers. This will not only place the student in the best situation for grade 10, but also will help them prepare for their IB diploma courses in grade 11 and 12.  Some IB Diploma courses require certain grade 10 class(es). Students will be able to select their first, second, and third choice (noted as 1,2,3) in arts and design. Our aim is to place all students in their first choice; however, due to levels of language and mathematics placement, students may be scheduled for their second/third choice for arts and/or design.

Please complete the attached form (IB MYP Course Selections For Class of 2020) by March 31, 2017, signed by both parent and student, so we can start building schedules for next year. If all of the schedules are returned by this time, we should be able to generate a list of courses that each student will be taking before we break for summer vacation.
