Meet our new faculty and staff.
We are pleased to introduce the talented faculty and staff joining CDS for the remainder of our 2020-2021 school year. They bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our community. Please join us in welcoming them to the Patriot Nation!
Marcus Breitigam, MS Design Technology Teacher
Marcus Breitigam gets way too excited about Design and Technology. Every day is something new to learn with both topics. Having taught Montessori and IB Design at Waterfront Montessori, he led a successful program that had kids making their own games, concepts, and lifelong desire to push their creations to the next level. Marcus has a B.S. degree in Game Art and Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Marcus' main goal is to encourage students to ask questions about everything in this world. During the COVID-19 quarantine, he tapped into his creative juices by designing Video Games. Marcus is ready for a new adventure with CDS and the Middle School students and looks forward to teaching 8th grade Design Technology.

He has often spent his summers teaching a mathematical cryptography course at the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) through Johns Hopkins. Eric has enjoyed working with students of all ages and strives to spark curiosity and allow students to discover ideas. Thank you to the middle school and Eric for making his transition to the Upper School Math Department possible. Eric will be teaching MYP Integrated Standard Math II, MYP Integrated Extended Advanced Math II, and Honors Statistics & Probability.
