Reflecting on Hispanic Heritage

CDS's celebration of Hispanic culture and heroes culminated with Dia de los Muertos on November 1st.

From September 15 through October 15, CDS and the world, celebrate National Hispanic American Heritage Month. As an IB World School, and in an effort to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at CDS students from the ECC through the upper school have incorporated learning about the Hispanic culture into their lessons during the months of September and October, culminating in Dia de los Muertos in November.

On October 15th, elementary students and faculty dressed up as their favorite Hispanic hero and in clothing or colors from a Hispanic country around the world.
