Senior, Maya G. shines a light on mental health during Mental Health Awareness Week.

Each year, during the first week of October, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and participants across the country raise awareness of mental illness.

Thank you to CDS Senior, Maya G. for speaking to CDS staff and faculty with the goal of education, support, and fighting the stigma of mental health.

"Mental health conditions are important to discuss year-round, but highlighting them during Mental Illness Awareness Week provides a dedicated time for mental health advocates across the country to come together as one unified voice." www.nami.org

Today and every day, CDS Counselors, faculty, and staff are on hand for any Patriot that needs to talk. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
