Alumni Accolades

We LOVE hearing from our CDS alumni!

Leah Vicencio, CDS Alumni

Continuing her work with The Broadway Sinfonietta organization, CDS Class of 2017 graduate, Leah Vicencio, has been hard at work over the last couple of months. Working with other Broadway enthusiasts and artists to keep the spirit of Broadway alive and raise money to support the Actors Fund, Leah and thousands of TikTok creators created a musical based on Disney Pixar's "Ratatouille."

With no real leadership or direction, the show grew organically from content that arose from TikTok creators. By the time the idea for a one-time streaming event starting January 1st came to fruition there were Emmy nominated broadway actors committed, television stars signed on, Tony winners and nominees excited to be a part of it and the newest Broadway hit Six co-creator, Lucy Moss at the helm. The virtual benefit performance has since raised over $1 million for the Actors Fund.

CDS is so proud of Leah and the work she is doing. Keep up the great work!

N'Jhari Jackson, Alumni, Gator Football

CDS Class of 2019 alumnus, N'Jhari Jackson, reached out to let us know how he was doing. N'Jhari finished the 2020 Fall semester with a 3.62 GPA and as a walk-on for the Gator football team. Just after the holidays, he was heading to Dallas with the team for the Cotton Bowl.

We are so proud of you N'Jhari! Keep up the great work.

Born Friday, November 20th in Des Moines, Iowa, weighing 9 lbs and 22 inches, baby Emlyn Joy entered the world. We are so excited to congratulate CDS Alumna Liesl Voges Seabert (CDS 8th grade graduate, class of 2001) and her husband, Adam on their first child.

Wishing you both much love and joy on your newest addition.
