Since 2012, CDS Middle School has recognized scholar-athletes who participate in athletics all year long. Participation in athletics develops many valuable qualities that will serve our athletes well in competition as well as in the classroom and their personal lives.  These qualities include Good Sportsmanship, Commitment, Time Management, Work Ethic, Dedication, Confidence, Discipline and Perseverance. 

The first award is called the Iron Athlete Award! These athletes have committed their time and dedicated themselves to three CDS athletic teams during the school year. We congratulate the following scholar-athletes who were awarded the Iron Athlete Award:

This second award is given to athletes who competed in four CDS athletic teams. These athletes did not take a break from our athletic program. This award is the Ultimate Athlete Award.
