Carrollwood Day School has some of the top girl athletes in the State!  This week was very busy for the Girls Varsity Basketball and Soccer Teams as they continue to receive recognition for their accomplishments.

Soccer All Stars

Emma A. ('20) and Haley W. ('20) played on the Hillsborough All Star Team in the 2020 Senior Soccer Challenge on Friday, March 6. In addition, Emma was presented with a $1,000 scholarship from Senior Soccer Challenge for her essay on what soccer has done for her.

First Time State Champs!

On Tuesday, March 10th, the CDS Girls Basketball Team - Florida State Champions - were honored at the Yankees spring training game at the George M. Steinbrenner Field.

Patriot Pride at the ECC

The ECC was excited to welcome some very special celebrities to their campus this week. On Tuesday, the regional runner-up Girls Soccer Team and State Champion Girls Basketball Team and RIOT visited the ECC. The students made posters prior to the visit to welcome the athletes. Classes enjoyed spending time on the playground with their special guests doing their favorite activities and practicing their skills at soccer and basketball mini clinics.  Thank you to the ECC for sharing these videos capturing this special visit.
