CDS has created a COVID-19 Case Tracker to provide updates to the community when the School is informed of a positive case of COVID-19.
Carrollwood Day School is committed to thorough, accurate, and transparent communication with our community. With the opening of school, we have added a COVID-19 Case Tracker to the COVID-19 Information Hub on our website. We will use this resource to provide updates to the community when the School is informed of a positive case. Please understand, if school is not notified of a positive diagnosis, we will be unable to communicate that information. In our shared responsibility to keep our community healthy, we encourage everyone to be sure to report any positive diagnosis of a students or employee or a member in their household to Jacqueline Silvers, R.N., our school nurse.
Confidentiality laws prevent CDS from disclosing the names of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19. This Case Tracker report is for transparency and general informational purposes, only. Persons identified as someone who has been in contact with, or in close proximity to any individual who has tested positive for the virus will be notified privately.
Mrs. Silvers is training a contact tracing team in each division to quickly identify students, faculty and staff who may have had contact with an individual who is diagnosed with COVID-19 or who has been exposed. Out of an abundance of caution and complete transparency, CDS will notify any one at school who is identified to have had exposure to Person A, B, C, or D as outlined on CDS's COVID-19 Illness and Quarantine Guidelines. These notifications will be sent privately via e-mail.
