One of the benefits of Carrollwood Day School is the relationships students, teachers, and faculty can cultivate in order to help students reach their full potential. Sometimes that potential extends far beyond the classroom. 

Junior Rachael W. (and her family of course) recently attended the annual Morgan Grand National and World Championship Horse Show for 10 days. Rachael has two new horse divisions this year - one is a western horse that she won the National title in 2018, but now is showing hunt seat, the other is a powerhouse that is her saddle seat equitation mount.

This year she competed in 6 classes Saddle Seat Equitation and was 4th in the World! But even better in her Hunt Seat Equitation division, as she earned a National title and then the WORLD title! She wiped the floor with them.

We are so proud of her - this has been three World Championships in three years - and two National Championships during the same amount of time. She is amazing and SO hard working. 

Rachael is the true embodiment of a Patriot. Setting her goals high and putting in the hard work to reach and exceed them. Congratulations Rachael. Your CDS family is so very proud of you.
