Congratulations to Aarnav C. ('25) for placing 4th in the Middle Level Business Math and Financial Literacy category of the FBLA State Competition held last month. State awards for the top five places are presented at the State Leadership Conference.

FBLA-Middle Level competitive events prepare students for successful careers in business by providing opportunities to apply classroom concepts in a workforce-simulated competitive environment. Acquiring the ability to solve common business problems is an essential mathematical skill needed by all prospective business professionals. And Aarnav demonstrated excellence in this area.

Aarnav was evaluated on competencies in percentages, fractions and decimals, ratios and proportions, savings, checking accounts, decision making, taxes, investing, insurance, real estate, financial goals, definition of terms, and basic economic concepts.
