Carrollwood Day School is governed by a Board of Trustees. The Trustees are responsible for setting policy, overseeing financial affairs, hiring the Head of School and guiding the school's future.

Strategic Plan
The Board of Trustees engages in long-range and strategic thinking to support the continuous growth and development of the school. During the 2015-2016 school year, the Board of Trustees formed an ad hoc committee to develop a rolling strategic plan from 2015 through 2021. The board led the work, with ample support from administration, faculty and staff. The objectives of the plan centers on the following areas:
