Senior Parent Meeting & College Night

This parents only meeting is a must attend event to standardize information between CDS families and the college counseling staff. The college counseling office will discuss the following:

• How do all the pieces of the application come together and who sends what information
• What do colleges value in the review process
• Naviance Application Management software
• Bright Futures Award qualification
• Common Application, state school applications, the essay, and resume
• School selection and what constitutes a “good” school
• Interviewing
• Dates and deadlines
• Application
• College class (advisory)
