4/27/2010 vs. Canterbury [league playoff game]
The Patriots play with heart but can't get the bats going in a 0-10 semi-final playoff loss to Canterbury. The CDS baseball season ends with a 3rd place district finish and an 11-8 overall record.
4/26/2010 vs. Academy at the Lakes [league playoff game]
CDS gets its first district playoff win in baseball with a sound 11-0 shutout of Academy at the Lakes. The Patriots are only one win away from advancing to the regional round of the state playoffs with Canterbury as our semi-final foe tomorrow (Tuesday, April 27) at 5:00 pm at Canterbury.
4/22/2010 vs. Citrus Park Christian [non league game]
CDS starts slow but regains focus and grinds out regular season ending 8-6 victory over Citrus Park Christian. The Patriots complete the first regular season of the new program with a 10-7 overall record and earned a 3rd place seed in next week's district tournament. Our first district playoff game is against the #6 seed (Academy at the Lakes) at 5:00 pm on Monday at Canterbury.
4/20/2010 vs. Citrus Park Christian [non league game]
Patriots let a big lead slip away in the 7th inning in a 12-13 loss to Citrus Park Christian.
4/19/2010 vs. Keswick Christian [league game]
CDS shuts down Keswick 11-1 in the final district game of the season. At 7-5 in district play (9-6 overall) the Patriots secure the #3 seed (out of 7 teams) in the upcoming district tournament.
4/15/2010 vs. Academy at the Lakes [league game]
Patriots collect 14 hits in a solid 16-5 district win over Academy at the Lakes.
4/13/2010 vs. Cambridge Christian [league game]
CDS is again over-matched against state title contender Cambridge in a 0-22 district loss.
4/8/2010 vs. Keswick Christian [league game]
CDS pounds out a season high 17 hits and scores 22 runs behind their most effective pitching of the year as the Patriots beat Keswick 22-1 in district play.
4/7/2010 vs. Canterbury [league game]
Canterbury hits their way to a decisive 6-23 win over a short-handed Patriots squad.
4/6/2010 vs. Lakeside Christian [league game]
CDS beats Lakeside Christian 13 - 5 in an important district matchup which could decide the 3rd seed in the upcoming district tournament.
3/24/2010 vs. Bayshore Christian [non league game]
Avenging an earlier season loss the Patriot bats came alive to beat Bayshore Christian 14-3 in non-district play. CDS climbs over .500 heading into the mid-season break.
3/22/2010 vs. Tampa Bay Christian [league game]
Patriots dominate in all phases of the game in as 12-2 district win over Tampa Bay Christian. The win raises the CDS winning percentage to 0.500 overall and in district play.
3/18/2010 vs. Lakeside Christian [league game]
CDS done in by one bad inning and some missed scoring opportunities in a 4-10 district loss to Lakeside Christian.
3/15/2010 vs. Academy at the Lakes [league game]
Patriots improve to 3-3 overall (2-2 in district play) as they hit and ran their way to a 17-10 victory over ALDS.
3/9/2010 vs. Bayshore Christian [non-league game]
CDS mounts a comeback but falls just short losing 9-10 against Bayshore Christian in a non-district game.
3/4/2010 vs. Cambridge [league game]
Playing in only our 4th game and matched up against a Class 1A state championship contender in Cambridge, CDS struggled to get outs as Cambridge hit their way to a 37-1 victory. Dominiq Sicardo and Reid Pittman hit safely for the Patriots.
2/25/2010 vs. Canterbury [league game]
In what was anticipated to be a tough early season test for our new program and young team, Canterbury beat the Patriots 16-1 in district play.
2/23/2010 vs. Tampa Bay Christian [league game]
CDS moved to 2-0 on the season while winning the district opener against Tampa Bay Christian Academy 8-4. Dominiq Sicardo and Jack Syron led the Patriots to the victory.
2/19/2010 vs. Seffner Christian
CDS kicked off its new baseball program with a solid 8-6 win at Seffner Christian. Reid Pittman and Jack Syron led the way on the mound whille Colin Campbell and Alec Clement led the Patriot offense. Additional game details and results are available on the Team Schedule page.
