The Patriot Booster Club

The Patriot Booster Club is an organization of parents whose desire it is to assist in building a quality athletic program, and whose purpose it is to support the operation of the athletic department. In cooperation with the Athletic Director, the Boosters provide support for all athletic teams and athletic activities. By becoming a member of the Booster Club, by volunteering, fundraising, and providing donations, parents and friends of CDS can build the athletic program our children so richly deserve. The Booster Club relies on parent volunteers to staff the School Spirit Store and Concession stands.

Last year, income from membership dues, donations, and event attendance enabled the Booster Club to contribute more than $30,000 to the CDS Athletic Department! These funds significantly impact our current programs and help create new opportunities for our students to explore their athletic prowess whether it is through sponsored events, intramurals, middle school teams, or on the varsity level at the high school.

Membership

As our school continues to grow and develop, so do our athletic needs. We hope we can count on your membership to aid in the support of these expensive athletic programs. We recognize the challenging economic times and in response we have not increased our membership dues for the coming 2010–2011 year.

There are two levels of membership in The Booster Club. Individual Members receive one official CDS Booster moisture wicking shirt and one annual admissions pass entitling the booster to free admission to all home games. Individual membership is $75.00/year. Family Members receive two official CDS Booster moisture wicking shirts and two annual admissions passes for free admission to all home games. Family membership is $150.00/year. Admission to all home games is free to all CDS students.

School Spirit Store

The Boosters Club operates a school spirit store on the CDS Prep campus. The Spirit Store carries CDS novelty apparel and other spirit items. The spirit store is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the regular school year. Merchandise is available to purchase at selected school events.

Concession Stands

The Booster Club hosts a concession stand at home athletic events for both middle school and high school teams. Volunteers set up the concession stand and sell snacks during the games.

Family Events

The Booster Club sponsors family fun events throughout the year. In the past these events have included cookouts and faculty/student athletic matches.
