The Carrollwood Day School PTO and the CDS Patriots Booster Club will host the Second Annual Patriot Run/Walk on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Carrollwood Day School - Bearss Avenue Campus. This fundraising event is meant to promote fitness and school spirit throughout the CDS community. There will be something for everyone:
- A 5K Run and Walk
- You can run to beat your best
time or enjoy a great walk around our beautiful campus. There will be
awards for the top 5 male and female finishers overall as well as awards for the top 3 finishers in several age categories. There will be childcare for children ages 2
through 10 available on the route during the 5K.
- Start Time 8:30 am.
- One Mile Fun Run
- This
is great for parents to do with their children and it is excellent
practice for the President’s Fitness Challenge which is part of CDS
physical education. All children participating in this run will receive
a medal.
- Start Time 9:30 am.
- Kids' Dash
- There will be short races for children ages 2 through 11. All children participating in the races will receive a ribbon.
- Start Time 10:00 am.

There will also be other festivities starting at 8:00 am including CDS Spirit Store shopping, inflatable obstacle course, crafts, and concessions. During the event, we will be making card and collecting items needed by the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital.
All money raised from the event will benefit CDS!

This entry fee allows you to participate in one or all of the events (5K, One Mile, and Kids' Dash). You will also receive an event T-shirt and goodie bag.
