Support O Ambassadors’ Fundraiser
to Benefit Free the Children

Oprah Ambassadors is a school-based program that inspires young people to become active, compassionate, and knowledgeable global citizens. To address the needs of the world’s poorest people, CDS Prep’s O Ambassador group is hosting the Empty Bowl fundraising event to raise money for the Free the Children. This program’s primary goal is to free children in East Asia from poverty and exploitation.  So far this organization has built more than 500 schools around the world, educating 50,000 kids every day.

The students in grades 5 - 12 at Carrollwood Day School will be doing their part by hand making ceramic bowls to sell at this event and donating all the proceeds to the Free the Children organization. Please join us on Thursday, February 18 between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm to support this fundraising event. The $15/person donation will entitle each participant to select a bowl and sample three soups from various local restaurants, enjoy local music, and make a difference in somebody else’s life. (Additional soup tickets can be purchased at the event to sample more soups!)

Please complete the form to make your reservation.  If your child created a bowl for this event, you may also “pre-purchase” their bowl at this time. (Students in grades 5 -12 were given the opportunity to make a bowl; please check with your child to find out whether he or she made a bowl.)
