• American Sign Language I / II
This class will focus on
building sign vocabulary, finger-spelling, grammar and syntax rules,
facial expressions, use of personal space, mime and the development of
sensitivity and awareness of the deaf community in America. The student
is expected to acquire basic signing skills and sign vocabulary.
• College Prep
Through this course, students will sharpen study
and organizational skills, learn how to be successful in the college application
process, learn how to be successful in their first year of college, and will
explore how to navigate through the college campus offices.
• Yearbook
CDS Prep Yearbook is a digital production created exclusively by the students. Students who are on the yearbook staff take photos of high school events, create page layouts, add captions, and design the yearbook cover.
