Who We Are
Carrollwood Day School is a non-sectarian, co-educational, independent day school serving students from two-years-old through high school. Carrollwood Day School stands out as a leader in its mission to educate the whole child.
- In 2003, Carrollwood Day School was named a National School of Character in recognition of its innovative school-wide emphasis on character development.
- Based on CDS students' high academic achievement, Carrollwood Day School was named a 2004 No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Carrollwood Day School is the first school in Florida authorized by the prestigious International Baccalaureate Organization to offer all three IB programmes for students in preschool through high school and is the sixth school in the U.S. to achieve this distinction.
- In 2007-08 the CDS championship athletic program received the Fred E.
Rozelle Sportsmanship Award from the FHSAA for exemplary sportsmanship.
- In 2009-10 the CDS middle school athletic program received the Rick Stowell Sportsmanship Award for the third time from the FWCL for exemplary sportsmanship.

Our Campuses
- The Early Childhood Campus, located on Casey Road, is home to our youngest students from two-years-old through kindergarten.
- Our pastoral 37.5-acre school site on Bearss Avenue in North Tampa provides state-of-the-art classrooms for our 1st through 12th grade students.

Technology
Carrollwood Day School incorporates technology in the learning environment by offering wireless computing on our campuses, as well as three state-of-the-art computer labs, mobile laptop carts in our elementary and middle schools, and a 1:1 MacBook program for our high school. Early childhood through high school classrooms are equipped with a variety of technology resources including LCD projectors, interactive white boards, scientific probeware, ELMO document projectors, and digital microscopes.
