Flik serves lunch at the ECC on Fridays only. Lunches orders must be received by 3:00 pm on Thursday. ECC students have the choice of a Hot Entrée or Deli Sandwich, each with sides included as well as choice of water of milk. The cost for ECC students lunches is $5.
How to order ECC lunch:
- Flik uses a no-cash system. Parents must set up and fund a payment account for each child at MySchoolBucks.com. To create accounts, enter your child's name and birthdate. Accounts can be funded three ways:
- 1. Make a one-time payment on MySchoolBucks.com
- 2. Set up autopay on MySchoolBucks.com
- 3. Send a check payable to "Flik" to the school office
- ECC parents must pre-order their children's lunches. Parents can view the Friday lunch menu at MySchoolDining.com/Carrollwood.

There is no school on Wednesday, September 13 for students at the Early Childhood Campus. CDS does not offer child care for students on days when regular classes are not held.
Appointments have been set for parents to meet with their children's teachers. If parents are unavailable on September 13, they are welcome to contact their child's teacher to reschedule a different date and time during the teacher's office hours.
Children staying "beyond the bell" at the ECC participate in activities supervised primarily by our early childhood teachers who are dedicated to providing a safe, caring, and fun environment. Snacks are made available for all students, and there is a rest time for all toddler, nursery, and prekindergarten students staying for the afternoon extended day program.
After Care Hours and Dates
After Care is available until 6:00 pm every day there is school with the exception of Friday, December 8, 2017 and the Friday before Spring Break (March 16, 2018.). After Care is offered on half-days; students who need to stay for after care on half-days need to bring their lunch and a beverage. The ECC also provides before school care beginning at 7:00 am.
KidCheck®
CDS uses KidCheck® to provide an online check in/check out system for the safety and tracking of our children. Every ECC family should create an account. This assures that our after care program is equipped to care for your child in the event that unplanned circumstances prevent you from picking up your child at the regular dismissal time. If you used KidCheck last year, your account is still active.

ECC students will once again be able to sign up for intramural sports with Miss Kati (N, PK and K), soccer with Miss Kati (PK and K) and dance with Karl & DiMarco School of Theatre and Dance (N, PK and K).

Studio Artistry, the official school photographer, will be on campus to take individual student pictures on Tuesday, September 26.
Kindergarten students should wear their regular school uniform for school pictures.

Policy for reporting an ECC student absence
Attendance records are kept for all students at the ECC. If a student is going to be absent, parents should notify Molly Houssian, ECC receptionist, before school by phone (813.963.2388) or by email at mhoussian@carrollwooddayschool.org.
